90 Day Fiancé’s David Toborowsky & Annie Suwan Reveal If They’re Safe After Devastating Thailand Earthquake Amid Million Dollar Success & Welcoming Baby

David Toborowsky and Annie Suwan from 90 Day Fiancé shared an update on their safety after a powerful earthquake struck Southeast Asia. The 90 Day Fiancé season 5 couple tied the knot in November 2017, and seven years later, Annie successfully became pregnant through an IVF procedure in July 2024. However, they chose to have their baby in Thailand, so they left the United States in December 2024. After facing many difficulties during the pregnancy, Annie welcomed their daughter, Minthira, in Thailand on March 11, 2025. David and Annie are thrilled about their baby’s arrival.

Despite living in Thailand, David is making significant progress in his career as a real estate agent and recently closed a deal worth $1.3 million in the United States, but they recently faced a scary situation.

David and Annie posted a video on Instagram providing an update on the earthquake that affected Southeast Asia, including Bangkok. David reported that “a7.7 earthquake hit Myanmar,” which is approximately 248 miles from Bangkok, but the effects of the earthquake were felt throughout Southeast Asia “from China to Vietnam.” He added, “Bangkok has had significant damage,” with a construction site collapsing and 83 workers still trapped underneath. David reassured fans, saying, “We’re fine and we thank you so, so much!” They are currently located 80 miles away from Bangkok and didn’t personally feel the tremors.

David and Annie are one of the most beloved couples in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Naturally, many viewers were worried about their safety after learning about the earthquake. It’s reassuring to see them make a video with their baby to comfort their fans and inform them that they are safe. In their update, David and Annie appeared more serious than usual. They seemed concerned for those who have been heavily affected by the earthquake, which suggests that they may have anxiety about living in Thailand for an extended period. They may be considering returning to their home in Arizona.

It wouldn’t be surprising for David and Annie to return to the United States soon because they have already accomplished their main goal of visiting Thailand. The couple welcomed their baby in the country and likely completed the process of obtaining Thai citizenship for their child. It would be logical for them to return to Arizona. While Thailand has been cost-effective for David and Annie, they prioritize their safety above all else. Additionally, the 90 Day Fiancé couple appears to be financially stable, as David has reached several career milestones in recent months.

However, this recent natural disaster may compel them to consider leaving Southeast Asia and returning to the United States for the safety of their newborn baby. Since theyweren’t at the epicenter of the earthquake, they may still feel safe living in Thailand and plan to stay there until their child is ready to start school.
