Following the camel bite, Amy was arrested at the Tennesse Safari Park along with Brian Scott Lovvorn.
Amy was charged with possessing drugs and child endangerment after deputies found marijuana and what appeared to be illegal mushrooms in a car they were sitting in, according to the Crockett County Sheriff’s Department.
In December 2024, Amy pleaded guilty to one count of simple possession of marijuana and one count of simple possession of mushrooms. The child endangerment charges were dismissed as part of a plea deal, Action News 5 reports.
Brian Scott Lovvorn also pleaded guilty to the same charges. The two were ordered to pay a US$1,000 fine and sentenced to two years of supervised probation.
It looks like the entire Slaton family deals with the aftermath of Amy’s arrest in the new season as Tammy, older sister Amanda and brother Chris sit down for a tense discussion-turned-intervention.
