I’m afraid the Young Sheldon spinoff is going to end in tragedy for Georgie

The Young Sheldon spinoff looks like it might end in disaster for Georgie, and it certainly sounds like he’s going to be having a tough time with everything.

When we last saw Georgie he was having to deal with the grief of his father passing away and having to take on the role of being the man of the house whilst also being a first time dad himself. During the Young Sheldon spinoff, Georgie will have to contend with Mandy’s mother who Jordan Montana revealed would be the “villain” of the show.

In an interview with TV Insider about the upcoming Young Sheldon spinoff, he revealed: “There’s a lot of things that come with being a young parent, and Mandy’s mom not being the easiest to deal with.” Alongside living with the McAllister’s, he’ll also be working with them which will present a whole new set of challenges for him to deal with.

Creator of the spinoff Chuck Lorre also hinted at how hard things are going to be for Georgie, adding: “He’s 19 and he dropped out of high school. How smooth can it be? It’s going to be very hectic. It’s a bumpy ride, but the bumps are comedy if handled correctly. There are dramatic moments as well because they will face inevitable obstacles to staying together.”
