Emmerdale star Danny Miller offered an apology to his wife, Steph, after uploading a “scare” video on his Instagram that left fans in fits of laughter.
Danny first joined the ITV soap in 2008 as Aaron Dingle, before becoming a permanent cast member in 2023. Since then he’s tackled some heartbreaking storylines, and was also part of a beloved Dales couple with Robert Sugden where fans lovingly labelled them as “Robron”.

Since then, he’s struck up a new romance with his now-fiancé John Sugden who proposed during Chas and Liam’s engagement party – even though Chas has shared that she feels unsure about John.
They’ve had quite the whirlwind romance in the Dales, with their relationship thrown into the deep end after Aaron thought he had killed Anthony Fox and John helped to destroy any evidence, including removing the body from the crime scene.
Aaron figured out that Anthony had sexually abused Ruby Fox-Miligan as a teenager, and decided to confront the old man at the depot. While first intending to get justice, he lost his temper as Anthony taunted Aaron about the abuse he received from his own biological father – Gordon Livesy.

Gordon repeatedly raped Aaron from a young child, and even though he was eventually sentenced for his crimes, he hung himself in prison before serving his full stretch.
He threw several deadly punches at Anthony, but it was Ruby who found him later on and decided to end his life for good. Since then, Ruby, Aaron, John, Caleb, Chas, Cain and now Steph are all in the know as the police continue to look for Anthony.

Taking to his Instagram, Danny posted a video captioned “scare prank”. He positioned his phone at the side of the kitchen as his wife Steph was talking and proceeded to sit down with her.
He then threw himself off the chair and yelled “Oh my God what is that?!” as he pretended something was on the chair next to her. As she panicked and looked around trying to see what he meant.
Danny burst into laughter as she asked in shock: “why would you do that? I’m really scared. I don’t even think that’s funny” as he continued to laugh.
Alongside the video he wrote: “WATCHED THIS SO MANY TIMES and I filmed it. Watch it until the end and then watch it again… ‘I’ve wet myself..’ I am so sorry @stephjones1710 Am I allowed back in the house??”
Emmerdale co-star Lawrence Robb commented: “A viral video if I ever saw it.” with former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas adding three laughing emojis.
Fans also saw the funny side, as @melarkeysharon wrote: “omg I would have passed out lol love Steph” and @ruthiebm2019 added: “Omg u two are the best..hilarious hope Steph made it to the toilet lol u better beware Danny cos I’m sure Steph will get her revenge”.
