30 to October 4, Sharon finds herself in an increasingly perilous situation.

After fleeing Genoa City in the middle of the night and checking into a motel,

she continues to be haunted by visions of Cameron. He manipulates her emotions, urging her to get revenge on Daniel for Cassie’s death, and convinces her that the only way to feel whole again is to follow through with this plan. Cameron pushes Sharon to use a deadly poison, which she finds in her bag, on Daniel.

Sharon initially succumbs to Cameron’s influence, breaking into Daniel’s home and poisoning his whiskey. However, at the last moment, she fights back against Cameron’s control and pours out the whiskey. Just as she begins to feel relief, Heather walks in and discovers her in Daniel’s place. Things take a horrifying turn when Heather ends up dead, leading to Sharon dumping her body over a bridge in a panic.

As the story progresses, Daniel is seen mourning Heather’s loss and telling Lucy that her mother is not coming home. Meanwhile, Sharon struggles with the weight of her actions and tells Nick and Mariah, “That’s why I confessed.” Nick’s response, “Confessed to what?” leaves viewers questioning the extent of Sharon’s confession and involvement in Heather’s death.
