Mahdi also struggled to get the approval of Stevi’s father. She’d kept Mahdi a secret from him until Mahdi was just about to move to the U.S. Meanwhile, the previews for 90 Day Fiancé season 11 have shown Mahdi finding out that Stevi is bisexual, and he is struggling to accept it. At one point, he also tells the cameras that he thinks they can’t get married.

Mahdi Keeps Wanting An Answer Despite Stevi’s Reluctance

Stevi took Mahdi to the gym. Mahdi was stunned to watch women working out in the same gym as men. He wanted Stevi to tell him how she would react if he became a personal trainer and had women clients or if a lady approached him at the gym. They discussed if Stevi would only paint men for the rest of her life. “But I’m sure it’s not because of me, it’s because of you,” Mahdi told Stevi, before adding he felt “weird” when he got to Stevi’s house and saw too many “b**b paintings.”

“Like, are you, do you think you’re sexually, like, attracted to them?”

Stevi was not comfortable asking the question. She told Mahdi that it was “weird” and reminded him that she was attracted to him. She told the cameras she thought it was insane that Mahdi was even asking her if she was bisexual, so she didn’t think she should have to answer a question like that. Stevi did tell Mahdi how her had asked her if she had “met a woman” when she told him about Mahdi. The Iranian man replied, “Maybe he has seen something.” Mahdi kept pushing Stevi to give him something that wasn’t the “wrong answer.”

While Mahdi worried about whether Stevi was bisexual or not and wondered if she would tell him after their wedding, there was also something else lingering on his mind. Stevi thought that every time Mahdi spoke to his family, it put him back in a mindset of being “super, super homesick”and put a strain on their relationship. Mahdi’s mom started crying whenever he called her, and it made him realize that he was “stuck in the middle.” Stevi asked Mahdi to limit his contact with his family, but Stevi was worried about something else.

Was Mahdi Pretending To Be Homesick?

Since Mahdi got to America, he’d been having these doubts and questions, and now, he suddenly wanted to push the wedding day, which was confusing to Stevi. He claimed he was worried that the “prices” of changing his status to Permanent Resident were increasing “so bad.” He suggested they shouldn’t wait for 90 days but marry in a few weeks to “save money” and so that he could start working to make money.

While it’s not known when Stevi and Mahdi got married, the 90 Day Fiancé star is still living in the U.S. as per his Instagram, and they have each other’s photos on their feed. Stevi has also pinned a mirror selfie of her and Mahdi posted in January 2025, indicative of their relationship status. It remains to be seen how Stevi gets over her trust issues with Mahdi and how he can convince her that marrying her is what he really wants.
