’90 Day Fiancé’s Throuple Is Way Messier Than I Thought

’90 Day Fiancé’s Throuple Is Way Messier Than I Thought

So far, the three of them have been connected well. Any claims she feels “complete” when she’s with both of them. Both Matt and Amani feel similarly and are in love with Any. In fact, since polyamory isn’t legal in the United States, Matt and Amani are ready to divorce so one of them could marry Any. However, I’m realizing my initial impressions of this couple are correct, and they have a lot more to explore before they can make their plans work successfully.

The ’90 Day Fiancé’ Throuple Has No Boundaries

The main issues of 90 Day Fiancé Season 11 Episode 6 seemed to revolve around communication, clarity, and boundaries. Any revealed to Amani that she was intimate with Matt after Amani excused herself the previous night. Amani, visibly upset, was more agitated with Matt for not communicating. Meanwhile, Matt thought he was in the right and was even more blown away to realize both women thought he should’ve been more honest and upfront about his actIons. However, the concern I have regarding this situation is the clear lack of boundaries. Matt even said it himself: this situation wasn’t discussed in the past, so he had no idea how to navigate it.

In his opinion, he didn’t do anything wrong and was engaging in the same way he always would’ve been. However, for Amani, and Any too, clear communication seemed to be far more important. Overall, the lack of boundaries here hints at more than one problem. Obviously, they don’t communicate well because there were discussions and agreements they should’ve made before entering a throuple. On top of that, though, they struggle to create sustainable boundaries and uphold them. I’m sure if the three of them communicated more openly, the women would like to feel more comfortable with the situation.

’90 Day Fiancé’ Couple Amani & Matt Were Struggling

However, the biggest red flag revealed from this situation was the state of the couples relationship before introducing Any. In Matt and Amani’s confessional, she admitted she was jealous, which is understandable to an extent. However, she also admitted that there were other issues in their marriage and even went as far as to say that “adding a third person” to an already-stressed relationship can heighten their problems. Hearing the couple talk about their struggles makes me wonder: was Any simply a bandaid?

Overall, I’m starting to see the positive aspects of their 90 Day Fiancé relationship. Any and Amani seem to care strongly for one another and look out for each other. In the ways that Matt fell short, Any was there to offer more support for Amani. I also think all three of them have a genuine connection and I think the same could be said for the energy shared between the three of them. While the throuple situation is unconventional, and I have my suspicions, I think their relationship can work, but they’ve got to slow down and evaluate their situation. Part of me wonders if they’re all in it for the right reasons and all the questions raised thus far are ones the three 90 Day Fiancé stars should sit with.
