Emmerdale fans are speculating a surprise love affair between Steph Miligan and an unlikely village resident.

Steph, portrayed by Georgia Jay, made her first appearance last year as the long-lost daughter of Ruby (Beth Cordingly) and Caleb (William Ash). The arrival of Ruby’s father Anthony (Nicholas Day) added another layer of complexity to the family dynamic.

As Anthony found his footing in the village, Ruby began to unravel, evidently concealing something about her father. It was later unveiled that Anthony had sexually abused Ruby at the age of 14.

Adding to the shocking revelations, it was confirmed that Anthony is Steph’s biological father. Following the exposure of Anthony’s heinous crimes, he was murdered by his own daughter, Ruby.
