Schedules for Coronation Street and Emmerdale have changed a number of times in recent weeks.

Because of this, it can get awfully confusing if you don’t know exactly when the soaps are on.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, things changed for Corrie and Emmerdale yesterday due to the football.

So, amid the changes, think of this as a handy guide for everything you need to know this week about when the soaps – including EastEnders – are on.

When is Coronation Street on this week?

The Coronation Street schedule for this week is as follows:

  • Monday – No episode
  • Tuesday – 8-9pm
  • Wednesday – 8-9pm
  • Thursday – No episode
  • Friday – 8-9pm

When is Emmerdale on this week?

The Emmerdale schedule for this week is:

  • Monday – No episode
  • Tuesday – 7-8pm
  • Wednesday – 7:30-8pm
  • Thursday – 7:30-8:30pm
  • Friday – 7:30-8pm

Is EastEnders’ schedule affected?

The EastEnders schedule has not been impacted by the sports this week, due to the coverage airing on ITV.

Still, here’s when the episodes will be airing:

  • Monday – 7:30-8pm
  • Tuesday – 7:30-8pm
  • Wednesday – 7:30-8pm
  • Thursday – 7:30-8pm
  • Friday – No episode

When will the new schedule for Corrie and Emmerdale begin?

It was confirmed at the start of February that Corrie and Emmerdale’s schedules will permanently change when 2026 begins.

Following audience research, bosses have concluded that 30 minute episodes attracted higher audience figures throughout 2024, and as a result, a new broadcast pattern will be adopted from January.

This means that Emmerdale will air Monday to Friday from 8pm, with Coronation Street following on the same days at 8:30pm in what has been dubbed as a ‘soap power hour.’
