’90 Day Fiance’ Season 11, Episode 6 Recap: Throuple Amina, Matt, and Any Set Relationship Rules

The 90 days are ticking down! From a throuple figuring out the “rules” to their relationship to a new complicated living situation, the drama ignited during episode 6 of 90 Day Fiancé season 11.

90 Day Fiance’s Sarper and Shekinah’s Living Situation Was a Challenge

After arriving in the United States, Sarper Güven was struggling to acclimate to his girlfriend, Shekinah Garner’s California apartment.

“The house is a little smaller than I expected. I was hoping bigger, especially the upstairs because there is just a bed and a bathroom,” he said in a confessional. “That’s all. I don’t know if it would change my decision to come, but it wouldn’t probably. But at least I could prepare myself.”

Besides the limited space, the mom of one realized she would be busy with clients for the foreseeable future because of the extended time she spent in Turkey. Since she works from home, this forced Sarper outside.

“It feels good to have Sarper here, but I’m realizing how small my place is and how it’s not quite equipped for a couple,” she told the cameras.

Sarper and Shekinah headed out for the beaches of Los Angeles and lived out the personal trainer’s Baywatch fantasies. He told audiences that it was a reason he began working out and asked Shekinah how she felt about him coming to the beach while she hosted clients.

“Why don’t you just get to know the neighborhood that we live in? And we can start to build trust little by little,” she told him. “I just want you to understand, babe, that your past, the choices that you made didn’t only affect the women at the time that you were dealing with, but they’re affecting me now because they make me wonder if you can really be loyal long-term.”

Shekinah admitted that the lack of trust in their relationship could “damage” their connection as she wasn’t sure if she and Sarper would be ready to “get married in 90 days.”

‘90 Day Fiance’ Star Mark’s Daughter Was Uninvited from His Wedding

Mark Bessette’s daughter Jordan asked to speak with him after his fiancée, Aminata “Mina” Mack, uninvited her from their wedding.

“If that’s how it’s going to be, I don’t want to be there anyways,” she told her father, adding that she told Mina how she would feel uncomfortable with them having more kids. “So if you guys are just going to disregard how I feel then maybe I shouldn’t be at the wedding anyways.”

Mark wanted to be honest with Jordan about the situation with Mina, but admitted his plan of just letting them talk “didn’t go well.”

“I think that that’s probably a sign that maybe you shouldn’t get married,” Jordan clapped back. Mark agreed that Mina’s actions were a “red flag,” but said he wasn’t going to choose between his fiancée and daughter.

“If she has that big of a problem, then maybe we’re not getting married,” Mark told Jordan, who wanted her father to be happy but wished it was a “different situation.”

“I’m not telling you what you can and can’t do,” she explained. “But just know how it makes me feel and just know that I might be around less and might not want to be around this new family.”

After Jordan tried to leave with her boyfriend, Mark questioned Mina about uninviting his daughter. “I know I started it, but you guys need to fix it,” he told the French native, before telling producers in a private confessional, “If she can’t get along with my daughter, maybe, maybe I won’t marry her.”

Amina JlassiMatt Jlassi and Any Aguirre were reeling after the argument they shared in the hot tub after learning Matt and Any were intimate without Amani.

“Any told me that she had sex with Matt behind my back and I wasn’t angry that they had sex without me,” the San Diego native told the cameras. “I think I was more like, I guess jealous because I felt like I was disrespected.”

Although Any and Matt agreed that they didn’t intend for their sexual encounter to be a secret, it was the throuple’s “first fight” that they had to work through.

Matt hoped to use the situation as a “chance” to see if they would be able to manage the dynamic. Amina agreed but admitted she had a fear that she could possibly lose Matt by bringing someone new into their relationship.

The throuple later went for a picnic hosted by the hotel where Matt brought up to the group that they should establish rules and expectations to avoid situations like the previous night.

“I want to make sure you understand the rules are not coming like from us, the married couple imposed on you, or I’m posed on the relationship,” Amani told Any. “Everyone can have rules and boundaries. So, I want to know what you feel like.”

Amina raised the question of whether they were allowed to have sex with each other without the other’s permission. Amina said she would approve, and both Amy and Matt agreed.

90 Day Fiance’s Alliya and Shawn’s Relationship Changed in the U.S.

Alliya de Batista was finally on her way to the United States and Shawn Finch was eagerly preparing for her arrival. He said the Brazil native had “germaphobia” and wanted to make sure she was comfortable.

“I can’t believe that after two years that it’s like finally here. It seems a little surreal. Today is like almost like a miracle,” Shawn told the cameras as he arrived at the airport to pick Alliya up. “Since the beginning of knowing Alliya, I’ve always said I can’t do long distance. I need to see how we sleep, how we wake, how we eat, how we coffee, how we jive. I need that daily life.”

Although the couple shared a warm reunion, the pair acknowledged that their relationship would change now that they lived in the United States together.

Alliya was surprised by Shawn’s eclectic taste in his Los Angeles home and asked him if he wanted to continue being in an open relationship. The pair had previously agreed to the arrangement due to the long distance between them.

“You just got here. So, I feel like that’s something we need to discuss,” he told her. “But I don’t feel like we need to discuss that tonight because you know, that’s let’s save that stuff for another day. Let’s see how we do in these next couple of days and see how we go.”

Alliya didn’t like his response and felt once she arrived in the United States that the arrangement should be over. Shawn disagreed as although he loved her, he “didn’t sign up to be in a relationship with a woman.”

“So, if she’s fully going to be a woman, then I know that I’ll be missing the company of being with a man,” he said in a confessional. “So I don’t know how to navigate it where we’re both like happy.”

Alliya and Shawn later went on a hike, where she asked him if his family and friends were aware of their relationship. Shawn said that his mother knew, but key family members — including his children — did not.

“They’re going to ask me things, from what they would think is my own good, whether it’s cultural age difference and so why hear it?” Shawn explained. “I’d rather just introduce Alliya to them and see what happens.”

The pair also realized they had differing views when it came to marriage. Shawn didn’t have a “big need” to make it down the aisle, while a big ceremony would be a “dream” for Alliya.

90 Day Fiance’s Mahdi and Stevi Got Real About Their Futures

Mahdi and Stevi went out for coffee, where the Iran native admitted he was even more homesick than his initial arrival. This alarmed Stevi, who asked Mahdi if he was always going to have “this thought in your mind that you always want to go back.”

He admitted that he couldn’t promise her he wouldn’t and stated that if they ever broke up in the future, he wouldn’t want to stay in the United States.

“When I was in Iran, if one day you don’t want to be with me, I would still stay in the U.S.,” he told her of how he used to feel. “But now I don’t feel like that anymore.”

This made Stevi weary of their relationship and told him it wasn’t the “best decision” to move overseas if he was already having second thoughts.

“This is probably the first time in our whole entire relationship that I’ve ever questioned Mahdi’s motive,” she said in a confessional. “And for the first time in our whole entire relationship, I’m starting to question whether this is something that I want to do or not.”

Stevi said she never questioned whether their relationship wouldn’t work out and disgusted her that he “entertained” the thought.

“I expected her to be more understanding and tell me that no, it’s going to work out,” Mahdi said in a confessional. “The hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life was leaving my family, but I can’t even be honest with her about that. I need a supportive wife no matter how hard everything gets. And right now that’s not Stevi.”

90 Day Fiance’s Joan Pressured Greg to Move Out

It was Joan Kruchov’s first days in her new home and Gregory “Greg” Chillak decided to show her the boardwalk. During the outing, Joan asked Greg how long he believed it would be before they moved out of his mother’s home. “Well, I’m, I’m hoping, you know, if everything goes normal and everything goes right, maybe a year and a half, two years,” he replied.

This shocked Joan, who admitted had she known she would’ve “reconsidered” her decision to move overseas. Greg explained that he was around $8,000 in debt from recent expenses and planned to cut corners when it came to planning their wedding to save money.

“Right now, having Joan here and actually speaking about the wedding and, and thinking about things, it definitely feels like I’m a little overwhelmed,” he explained to producers. “I do think things have to change drastically. I have to live within my means until I can live the lifestyle that I want to. Things completely have to change. I have somebody else in my life now.”

Joan emphasized if things didn’t change, she would be “going back to Uganda.”

The pair met up for dinner with two of Greg’s friends, both named John. The Johns asked Greg about his future plans, and the 90 Day Fiancé alum shared that he wanted to open a bakery. However, they questioned whether that was the right path given their current living situation.

“I’ve always suggested that Greg try to find a job that, you know, is steady and maybe something in a union or something like that where he’s got, you know, steady paycheck, job security,” the friend suggested. “There’s multiple opportunities he could have taken throughout his life that he has chosen not to do because he does just doesn’t want to punch someone else’s clock. Greg needs to be extremely realistic about what it’s going to take to simply get a roof over their heads, let alone a roof that’s large enough to supply children.”
