After spilling tractor fuel all over the ground, she then aimed a shotgun at Ruby, with a spark from a bullet causing flames to surround them. During a scuffle between the two women to get control of the weapon, Ruby was knocked unconscious.
The two walked through the flames with a blanket over them as a massive explosion knocked everyone outside off their feet. We were left wondering whether the two would make it out alive, but tonightβs episode confirmed that they were safe.
Moira and Ruby were hospitalised, as was Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), whilst John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) was forced to consult Dr. Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) in The Woolpack.
In the corridors, Cain sat alone, unable to face Moira. He still believed that sheβd cheated with Nate, and was encouraged to go into her room by Chas. Elsewhere, Ruby mentioned to husband Caleb (William Ash) about her behaviour in the moments leading up to the devastating incident, and remembered her mentioning Emma. During a difficult conversation about her future, Moira began suffering a seizure and after a scan, it was confirmed that she has a mass on her brain.
